Jack Riewoldt

Introduction and Early Life

Jack Riewoldt is a professional Australian Rules Football player who plays in the elite Australian Football League (AFL). He is currently playing for the Richmond Tigers Football Club and was born on October 31,cam newton womens jersey, 1988 in Tasmania to Chris Riewoldt-father and Lesley-mother,Rob Gronkowski Jerseys 2012; he is about 1.95 metres tall and weighs about 93kg presently. He played for several youth teams which helped immensely in moulding him for his future career as a professional footballer. After doing well at the local sides, he was eventually drafted into the AFL in the first round of the 2006 national draft.

Early Football Career

Professional Career/Achievements

Jack made his debut into the AFL in 2007 after he was highly rated as a viable prospect for the forward position in the club. He played well in the club but his debut season was more or less uneventful for him. He improved tremendously during the 2008 season and he had a number of honours to show for it,397. Although these were not outright laurels, there were things to give an indication that there was a marked improvement in his performance. For instance, at the end of the 2008 season, he was able to get the NAB AFL Rising Star nomination at the end of the season.

Jack maintained his performance and improvement on his game such that by 2010 he had kicked about ten goals in the game against West Coast Eagles, with amazing record setting performances in Richmond Tigers Football Club. He became the first player to kick ten goals since 2007 and the first player from Richmond Tigers to do so since 2004. He was able to join the existing list of four previous players in the AFL who were able to kick a double digit goal tally in a game. The 2010 season became a turning point in his career or what many will refer to as a breakout season. He won the highly coveted Coleman medal for the leading Goalkicker in AFL that season.

As if it was not enough, four days later after winning the Coleman Medal, he was announced as the winner of the Jack Dyer medal as the Best and Fairest of Richmond Tigers. He secured about 210 votes to beat his closest rivals who had 204 votes and 193 votes respectively. He was also named as an Australian Full Forward as a result of his incredible Coleman Medal honours. All of these did not make Jack rest on his oars, as he went ahead to win the Ian Stewart medal against St. Kilda for his outstanding performance kicking seven goals.
